When arriving in the Fort Sill area by air, the nearest major airport is the Lawton-Fort Sill Regional Airport which is located about 3 miles from Lawton, Oklahoma. Another nearby airport is the Wichita Falls Municipal Airport which is located about 43 miles away from Lawton. The People's Cab Company is the only cab service that will take soldiers to Fort Sill. The Lawton Transit bus system offers a transfer to the Orange Route which takes riders to Fort Sill. If arriving by car, take a left on 11th Street and remain on it until you come to Fort Sill Boulevard which will lead visitors to the Scott Gate.
