Basic Allowance For Housing (BAH) is provided by the military to help active service members with housing costs, and can be used for either on- or off-post housing.
The Housing Services Office (HSO) will be your first point of contact when you receive moving orders, and provides services that will help you with referrals, relocation assistance, guidance for entering a lease agreement and tenant-landlord disputes.

Fort Sill On Post Housing (Rent On Post)
- The Unaccompanied Housing (UH) office can be reached by calling (580) 442‐3626/6966.
- On-post housing at Fort Sill is privatized. Contact Corvias Military Living (580) 581-2144 to check available housing for your pay grade and family size. They have three communities with a variety of home styles and sizes. Amenities may include: garage, dishwasher and patio. Lawton is a fairly large city of 96,860 residents in the southwestern part of the state, adjacent to Fort Sill. Other towns nearby with off-post housing opportunities include Elgin, Duncan, Marlow, Apache, and Frederick. These are much smaller towns with less than 4,000 people each, with the exception of Duncan which has a population of 23,400, and are fairly spread out in the agricultural area around the fort. The average commute in Lawton is about 13 minutes. Other cities in the area include Cache, Fletcher, Medicine Park, and Geronimo.
About the Installation
Fort Sill is home to the United States Army Field Artillery School, the United States Army Air Defense Artillery School, and the 31st Air Defense Artillery Brigade. Fort Sill is one of five Army bases that provide Army Basic Combat Training. A detachment of the United States Marine Corps is also stationed here. The fort is located near Lawton, Oklahoma, southwest of Oklahoma City.
